We've been successful for so long because we've built a great reputation for consistently delivering the highest quality of workmanship, staying on budget and on schedule. The way we do this is by developing a close, collaborative relationship with the architect or designer and the client, and by getting involved as early as possible in the planning process.
This team approach has consistently proven to make each project run more smoothly and efficiently with no surprises. We're better able to control our costs and delivery schedules by utilizing our experienced in-house building team.

Sadly, although Abrahamse claims to "own its work, " we found its performance lacking, requiring us to "own" its problems. We selected Abrahamse based on its reputation under the former owner/president and were willingly to pay a premium for its services. However, the firm did not live up to its reputation. Due to poor workmanship, supervision and management, our project ran significantly over schedule and budget.
This was due primarily to a management team which didn't adequately plan, perform or inspect the work, resulting in compounding problems. A costly and time-consuming "comedy of errors." Examples: 1. After 3-months renovating the laundry room, they discovered the door was too small to accommodate a washer or dryer. This required major repairs to the door frame, hardwood floors, drywall and air vent. 2.
They didn't follow the portico design provided, requiring its complete reconstruction. They also allowed the roofing contractor to install the wrong color shingles. Shockingly, the supervisor chose to argue with us (in front of the workers) until we proved ourselves correct. The list goes on. Such inattentiveness and unprofessionalism were common and copied by the firm's subcontractors. Based on our extremely negative experience, we'll never use this firm again nor recommend its services to others.
