Our AC compressor failed, our technician Vernon was so courteous and professional and an all around joy to be around. Doc had the part ordered and Vernon replaced it all within a weeks time. What a responsive and reliable company! I called and someone was able to come look at my AC the same day. Tom showed up right on time. So friendly and professional. He explained everything thoroughly. I was able to get my new ac installed in just a few days! The techs that did the work were prompt and so nice and got the work done in a timely fashion. W.G Speaks has been doing my HVAC maintenance for the past several years. They are always very professional and friendly when I have dealt with the. The technicians always explain what they have done and answer any questions I have. Doc always calls to let me know when the technician is on his way. The entire company seems to actually care about their customers and for me that means everything.

Yesterday I had to request a service call to my house because I had no heat. The technician was nice and friendly went right to work and found the problem. He also spoke highly of your company which I was impress that he shared with me. Thank you for your prompt service and I think you have got a customer for life. I have a maintenance agreement with Speeks and it's wonderful. They call/text to remind you to set up a spring/summer and a fall/winter check up. They are friendly on the phone. The service provider arrives on time (and even a little bit early). Highly recommend and I even got my parents to start using them. What a caring company. I had an appointment for general maintenance when my heat pump went out. They got over quickly to fix it and also kept the appointment to check the other one. The quality of the customer service was above and beyond what I had hoped. They had originally installed our air conditioning system 17 years ago. We had used their annual check up for a number of years, but let it lapse. We re-engaged with them, and they did excellent service. Thank you so much for the great work, y'all!

I spoke with Mrs. Marian at WG Speeks on Tuesday morning and informed her of the poor service and lack of communication we received from another HVAC company. She was very attentive to my needs and empathetic to what were going through. She informed me they were busy and it would take "some time" for WG Speeks to get out to us. Expecting at least a 2 week wait, Mr. Freddie was ringing my door bell 2 days later.
He was polite, professional and informative throughout the entire process. Completely different from the horrible service we received in the past. I would recommend WG Speeks to anyone that is having HVAC issues when it feels like 102 degrees in Richmond, as it is today. Marian and Freddie are 2 very valuable assets to your company. Thank you to both and we look forward to stellar service in the future. Thank you again for ensuring you have trained professionals who are not in the business of taking advantage of people, but doing what is right.

WG Speeks went out of their way to fix our air conditioning problem. They showed exemplary customer service and went out of their way to provide an interim solution for our blown out motor while they were awaiting the right parts. The parts they ordered to fix our AC weren't going to arrive till after the weekend so in order for us to not have to get through the weekend in extreme heat they got us parts from another functioning unit in their warehouse, installed them into our unit and got our AC up and running.
They will then return again on Monday, to install the new parts that will go in permanently, once they arrive. The passion that they showed to address a customer's concern was much appreciated!

I called WG Speeks when I woke up to find that my air conditioner was no longer putting out cold air. A technician, Chris, came out the same day I put in a call for service at the busiest time of the year. He was courteous, kind and professional. In addition, his recommendation of replacement ended up saving us money rather than recharging our dying system to no avail.
When another rep came out the next day to verify our HVAC system design was sound, we were not oversold on additional equipment or services. All in all they were trustworthy, efficient and responsive to our needs.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Please use my experience as a warning for what you could potentially deal with when using this company. I called WG Speeks on a Monday morning when I woke up to a freezing house and a totally blank thermostat. A technician arrived at my home around 9:30am and proceeded to run 'diagnostic tests'.
After about an hour, he determined that my heat pump in the attic had a short. After 2 more hours of searching for the short he explained that I would need a new electrical board for the heat pump. He had to leave to retrieve the parts and returned telling me the part was still under warranty which was great. After an hour he was still installing and I had to leave for a funeral so I told him to continue while I was gone and call me when he was finished.
The technician finally called me at 4:40pm (7hrs total!) saying he had just left my house and that I was only getting emergency heat because my system still had a short somewhere. He left an invoice stating that I needed yet another electrical board replaced at my outdoor unit and that my thermostat needed to be replaced and that I should call back and schedule more service.
The next day I had my relative who happens to be in the HVAC business come check out my situation and give me a second opinion. My cousin located the actual short and fixed the problem in 15 minutes! I called WG Speeks the next day to inquire about the invoice and let them know they diagnosed the problem wrong. After multiple phone calls with my second technician, myself, and my father, the service manager Scott refused to come down at all on the bill ($497) for 7 hours of labor for work that did not need to be done and a problem that took a well-educated technician 15 minutes to fix. Don't let this company give you the runaround like they did with me. In my personal opinion they are dishonest and inept.

We will never use this company again. Paid extra for a call on Sunday. This got us nothing other than a diagnosis as they didn t have the parts to fix it that day and were unprepared to do so. Diagnosed it wrong as it turns out. Charged us twice for labor even though they should have been doing all the work at one time if diagnosed correctly. No one with authority will talk with you--forced to deal with a dispatcher with no authority. Cowardly and unprofessional way to handle customers. Did nothing to get parts covered by warranty like they said they would. We had to do all the work. Didn't return our calls so work went a day longer than necessary. Would never use again.
