4 Years ago what started as a wonderful experience has turned into one of our worst nightmares. I will break this down in depth but the quick version is; I've been sworn at by one of the owners, promised many things to be fixed (major issues) and people no show or they send the painter before the drywaller and then never send the painter again once the wall is repaired.

And now when my house was inspected, since we are finally selling it, the warranty repairs I did get them to make aren't up to code at all. one example is, There is a coat hanger rigged in the float of our ejector pump. Moss one the owner raised his voice with me many times during the building process, to the point where I had to request a new expeditor after he swore at me on the phone while on speaker in front of my father and uncle. David one of the other owners, missed a major design flaw as we made our garage deeper and it created a water damning problem, dumping melted ice in the spring into my home ruining the back wall inside my laundry room. 8 months of wet, sopping drywall in my home before repairs made. they never did do the final awning on my rear window they promised to build to assist with the roof changes. that's the room they sent the painter before they had the drywall fixed and then never sent him again so i had it painted myself. Jim the last owner, well he hung up on me when I was admittedly at my wits end talking to the final owner hoping he could schedule these repairs etc, and I've never heard from them again The 11 month warranty paper work was sent on the 18 month of occupancy after several emails and I believe a letter from my attorney.

They only did some of the things on the list and a couple of those aren't even up to code. electrical and plumbing more specifically. My hard wood floors were installed the day they arrived at the new construction, they never acclimated. They still squeak, some have warped, and I was told by the floor company, that mchome builders sub contracted, to wait 18 months cause they would "settle" and David backed this claim.

Well they never settled, they still make noise and they side stepped it past the warranty expiration and never did a thing. I am building another home. I will never use this company again. Albeit our home is beautiful aside from some little things that could have been resolved. Instead they were handed off and ultimately ignored. STAY AWAY. When it gets too hot it looks like they just change their llc name and start a new company.

One of the owners can be CCAP'd for huge lawsuits from subcontractors never paid. After this string of homes. they're probably going to change their name to Master C homes or something. Just wait.

Let me just start by saying, "WE LOVE OUR HOME". I wanted to wait a couple of years as we finished our Construction in September of 2019 so that I could fully stand behind my review. After 2 years, we have had no issues what so ever with anything. The craftsmanship and detail are beyond amazing! The service we received from Jamie was top notch and Jamie always responded to our needs immediately.

I 101% stand behind by 5 star review and if there were 6 stars available, it would be given. Thank you so much for building our dream home and for all you have done to make it happen. I would recommend building with Mastercraft to anyone.

Mastercraft was a great company to work with from start to finish. Everyone in the company is easy to work with and willing to communicate at any time. We rarely went more than 24 hours without a response. They allowed us to use our style and make the house design ours and the results are beautiful. We did not build in a subdivision but the Mastercraft team made the entire process run smoothly despite our lot being very rural.

Working with Chris was a great experience as we walked through the initial design and sales process. Dawn made the selection process very organized and easy to handle despite the huge amount of decisions we needed to make. She was always available to answer questions and provided detailed info for every loan draw. The building process went smoothly and we had constant communication from Jim our expediter.

The contractors that came into the house did excellent work and stayed on task and didn't mind when we would stop by throughout the day. Any issues that came up were handled quickly and professionally. Overall, the value and quality we found with MC was unmatched. We went through two other builders prior to working with MC and while that was stressful we are so thankful we finally landed with MC.

They are an upfront and honest group and you will not be left questioning the finances, plans, schedule, etc. Our new home is beautiful and exactly the way we planned it. Thank you MC team for finally making our visions come to life!

Couldn't be having a better experience. We are very happy with our choice to work with Trace and Chris at Mastercraft. From my basic online inquiry to signing final documents Trace has been personable, responsive, and accommodating. Our meetings with Trace and Chris are always on point and enjoyable. They're on time, professional, knowledgable, and clearly experts at work.

I also really appreciate Chris' consideration in making the home work seamlessly with my taste and lifestyle and his brilliant ideas in fitting them all in. These guys have been great - we'd highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Mastercraft Builders. I am writing this review almost two years post construction. Intentionally, I waited to leave this review. In two years, I have not had any issues post construction. In a new home, "typically" issue do not present until post construction. Post construction, it is extremely difficult to get most builders to return to address issues.

This was not the case with Mastercraft. They did it right the first time! If I had questions or concerns they communicated with me promptly. Customer service and build quality are key components to their service delivery. Mastercraft Builders stand behind their work product. I have built several homes and by far Mastercraft Builders was the best experience overall.

This was my first experience with Mastercraft. I chose another builder from Kenosha to build my prior home. The end result was not good. That builder did not stand behind their product. If I were building again; without hesitation, I would contact Mastercraft. I highly recommend them as the preferred builder for your home construction project. Tell them Dr. K sent you. We had a good experience with Mastercraft when we built our home last year. Chris was very cooperative and patient with us as we struggled to make our decisions regarding the particular model and details of the home we wanted to build. He knew that we had a unique piece of property and assured us that the model we chose would fit perfectly on that property.

We had never gone through the new construction process before and were apprehensive as we had heard it could be a frustrating experience. In the end we can say the issues were minimal and our home is absolutely gorgeous. We get endless compliments and would do it again without hesitation.

My husband and I just recently bought a home from Chris at Mastercraft Builders. We cannot say enough good things about working with Chris. We were moving from out of state, so the process of finding a home with a credible builder is not always an easy one. First and foremost, Chris is the easiest person to work with. We had a few hiccups with our current house being sold and delays on closing and he was patient and understanding of our situation.

The home that we bought from Chris is one of a kind. Truly our dream home and we couldn't have designed it better ourselves. He did not miss any detail, and the craftsmanship is next to none. Thank you Chris for building our dream home and making it such an enjoyable experience! We would recommend you to anyone looking to build in the Burlington/Twin Lake/ Lake Geneva area!

Highly recommend working with Mastercraft! Jim, Chris, and everyone we worked with are outstanding people and great at what they do. They helped us in selling our house and built the amazing home we just moved into. We had a projected move in date of Feb. 1st and we had occupancy by Dec. 26th. They exceeded our expectations and the quality is top notch.

Very professional and communication was great. Can't say enough about our experience with Mastercraft! As first time home builders they were very helpful, caring, and made our experience as stress free as they could. If I were to build another house I would absolutely have Mastercraft build it.

An amazing experience from start to finish! Chris was great to work with in the design and selection process. I was able to make all the changes I wanted, to a floor plan I loved, but wanted some extras added. Chris helped every step of the way making sure I was able to get everything I was looking for. I then worked with both Mass and Johnathan during the actual construction and they were both great as well. Building is not easy, but Mastercraft sure made it a smooth enjoyable process and I couldn't be happier with my home!
