We specialize in designing and building new homes and completing upscale renovations so thoughtfully planned and constructed - you'll never want to leave home. Many of our projects also are constructed cooperatively through a team approach in partnership with outside architectural firms and interior design professionals.

Since 1984, Moore Designs has been one of southeastern Wisconsin's leading custom home designers, custom home builders and remodeling contractors. We specialize in luxury custom homes and upscale home renovations built from plans we've developed in-house as well as plans developed by outside design firms.
Our story begins in the 1970's, when I experienced the renovation of my family's home on the shores of Big Cedar Lake. At that time I knew I had found my calling -- to design and build high-end custom homes. In 1984, my wife Lisa and I founded Moore Designs with the goal of eventually evolving into a architectural design/build firm and home remodeling company.
Not only does Moore Designs provide full service architectural design and construction services for both new custom homes as well as upscale home remodeling, we also provide additional ancillary services essential to the successful completion of our client's projects as well as their continued satisfaction long after they move in.

If you're looking for a home builder that exceeds the quality expectation, then Dave and Lisa Moore should be your builder choice. Point #1: Quality costs. Point #2: Quality costs. Point #3: Quality costs. Others might be able to do it cheaper, but others won't do it better. Moore uses the most ethical and competent subcontractors, along with their own highly skilled carpentry crews.
That's right, they're "builders" not contractors. They actually are involved in physically building the home. Customers of high end homes can be temperamental, demanding, unreasonable, tactless, and naive. Not saying WE were any of those, however, our experience was that they were always very respectful, professional, and tactful. If we were ever to build another home, we wouldn't hesitate to ask them to build it. Point is, we won't ask them to build us another home, because they've already built us the most perfect home we've ever, or ever will, live in.
