DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO BUILD! Decided to build my 1st home and the process was horrible, the kitchen bar wall is warped, baseboards are not straight and have huge gaps from the floor. The hardwood floors are warped, and carpet was put over broke steps. The warranty 2-11 does not respond in a timely manner. I put a order in on Dec 2021 and still have not heard anything back. Floors are popping up and toilet leaks from not being sealed properly, the master shower door was installed incorrectly. It has only been 6 months and Im ready to sell and rebuild with a builder with expertise. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Was out of town and in need of new brakes. They got the job done speedy and very professional

Horizon Home Builder thinks nothing of the buyer all he cares if he making his money does not care what you want what you need in your home as long as he making his money you will need to buy at his price he will never lower the price you can buy at that or go else where he does not care about the buyer. you can only get what you see he will not change anything or give you anything.the market is what it is pay his price or go elsewhere

We have now been in our Horizon home for just over 2 months. Choosing Horizon Home Builders was the best decision we made! The process was easy and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. During our final walk-thru, Matt went through the entire house in detail. He is very down to earth and extremely helpful. To this day, when he is in our neighborhood, he still honks when he drives by. After being burned by another regional builder, our realtor suggested we look at Horizon Home Builders in Savannah. From the initial sales process, to design selection, construction and closing, Horizon has excelled at being communicative and reasonable on all accounts. They made the whole process very easy to follow and put us as ease. We've been in our home over a month now and couldn't be happier!

We trusted Horizon with the largest purchase of our life, and they made sure we were pleased. Jack, the supervisor in our neighborhood, has always been very responsive and professional. Having built a home before, we knew small issues and defects were to be expected, but Horizon has dealt with them all to our complete satisfaction. If you prefer a local builder who puts pride in their work over a national builder that only cares about their bottom line, then I suggest you take a look at Horizon Homes.

Horizon is fantastic to work with. They made our building process so painless and fun. With this being one of the most stressful things a person or couple does in a lifetime, Richard, Robert and Matt we're there and helped us with any questions we had. They are very personable and truely care about their families they are working with. We are very happy with our home.

Everyone that enters our house is blown away with the detail and extras (that weren't extras-so much comes standard). I would highly recommend this builder to anyone, and if you chose them you are in good hands living in a great sound construction home off your dreams.

Edit: notice all the 5 star reviews added within days of my review. 7 reviews before mine, then 4 added within days. Seems fishy don't you think? I highly recommend NOT going with this builder for multiple reasons. From start to finish almost every aspect has been overly frustrating for no reason. Now that we have been in our house for a year we are having the most difficult time getting things fixed that are covered under the warranty they FORCE you to buy (from them!) They pocket the money from the insurance then don't fix the issues.

We have entry doors that won't close or open correctly. Our flooring is gapping and losing its color in random spots. (They claim large gaps are fine, see pictures) The finish on our upgraded kitchen cabinets are flaking off and coming apart. Every step to get these things fixed are met with resistance and ridiculous time lines for repairs. (Our 30 day move in check list took 4 months to address!) Look at other reviews, you will see how difficult it is to get things fixed. IF POSSIBLE Avoid THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Honestly, I have no complaints and I'm very satisfied with my home. From customer service, to selecting material, all the way down to building my home the experience was stress free and great. They did a great job on the constructioning and completed my home two weeks before the deadline. Thank you so much Horizon!
