We have been in our home built by John Schedcik Custom Homes for about two months and we couldn't be happier! John is a great builder with excellent subs working him. Rob was a great superintendent that was always accessible. Laura in the office is the unsung hero who keeps up with everything and could always tell me what I needed to do or would quickly get me the info I needed.

We built at a time when supply shortages, labor issues due to COVID, and one of the worst winter storms in the history of Texas caused many people building at the same time we were to experience significant delays. The team at Schedcik Homes reacted quickly to these issues and kept the project as close to on target as was humanly possible. I can't recommend John, Brandi, Rob & Laura enough.

My wife and I are very pleased with the home that John built for us! His experience, knowledge and capabilities were just we needed to successfully build our forever family home and we look forward to living here for many, many years to come! During the build there were no challenges that John was not able to ultimately overcome. John Schezdic built a custom home for my wife and myself in 2006. We have lived in this home for 15 years and love it as much today as we did the day we moved in. John did an exact job of building the home per our design drawings and the work was of highest quality. We also took possession of the home in a timely fashion based on his completion estimate.

Since living here, we have had basically no maintenance/repair issues that were a result of manufacturing flaws and have continued to be very satisfied with the exceptional quality of our home. We highly recommend John and Brandi Schedcik as custom home builders. We started off as friends before this project and ended up as even better friends. That's speaks volumes of the kind of people they are. Of course, we had the best superintendent in Brandi! We enjoyed meeting the quality people that make up there team. Honestly we can't decide what the favorite part of our new home is, the metal roof, the stone exterior, the windows, or the hardwood floors.

I can't recommend building a home during a pandemic, but if you do, John Schedcik Custom Homes would be a worthy home builder to consider. After doing our homework we put our faith in John and his team to construct our retirement home, which has now been finished to our complete satisfaction and done so in spite of our country having been basically put on "lock down" for the past year plus.

Working through a chain reaction of unexpected supply & demand complications, material delays and drastic pricing fluctuations, government imposed isolation restrictions and stay at home constraints, and an array of additional issues caused by the pandemic, John and team skillfully weaved through all the barriers over the months of construction, keeping us well informed along the way.

Only time will tell for sure, but we have faith that our home will withstand many years of normal wear and tear going forward. I consider John and his team top tier, honest and well organized custom home builders.
