Couldn't describe our experience as anything other than perfect service from beginning to end. I called their office to book and was given options and flexibility. We are in the process of building a new home with a well-known builder, and learned from a few others that we needed to hire an outside inspector as soon as possible to ensure the builder and contractors were doing everything right on their end. We've never had a home built before, so we were not aware of how crucial it would be to have (three) phase inspections carried out. Unfortunately, we were a little too late to have the first inspection conducted merely because we did not learn about phase inspections until after the foundation was poured and completed.

After looking around for inspectors we came across Gold Medal Inspections, and decided to go with them -- and we're so glad we did! Travis is the definition of a top-notch, respectful, friendly, and honest professional and inspector. Communication with him and his team have been open, direct, and quite seamless from very the beginning. Travis literally just completed the second phase inspection (pre-drywall) this morning and found one too many issues with the home already -- issues that would not have been caught or corrected if we didn't hire an outside inspector.

We HIGHLY recommend Gold Medal Inspections for phase inspections for new builds, or even if you're just looking to have a final inspection done for a home you're interested in purchasing. We have purchased plenty of older and even newer homes over the years and have hired several inspectors -- some were great and the others not so much (i.e. they missed major issues that should have been caught during inspection(s).) And we genuinely and firmly believe that Travis has been THE BEST and most thorough inspector we have ever met. Unbelievably grateful for him and the team! I was referred to Gold Medal Inspections by neighbors and it was a good referral. The inspector was on time, thorough, and happy to share his observations with me as we went through the house. Office staff was very responsive, communicated well and very accommodating. Joe was wonderful. He did a throughout walkthrough and alerted us on issues that we had looked over. He was able to translate major issues as well as smaller ones while answering questions along the way. Highly recommend for new constructions and new homeowners.

Everyone at Gold Medal was great, from the extremely helpful customer support people you talk with to the very competent and pleasant inspectors. They went far above and beyond to work with us in a short timeframe. The report was laid out very well and had excellent details. Highly recommended.

Joe was on time and did a comprehensive review of the house. He was able to provide a written report within an hour of completion which included pictures of specific areas of concern or maintenance needs. He spoke with us in person about a few concerns regarding the house. He also returned calls to answer our additional questions. We were satisfied with the quality of the inspection.

I highly recommend Gold Medal inspections! We had originally booked them to come on a Monday but our builder asked if they could come on Wednesday instead because the house would not be ready yet. They were able to easily change our appointment over to Wednesday and they were very responsive to our emails. When the inspector came on Wednesday he called to let us know that there were lots of crews still working and since the house was not ready to be inspected yet he would come back the next day.

We really appreciated him and the flexibility he was able to provide because our house just wasn't ready. He was very thorough with his inspection and we got the report by the end of the day so I was able to send it to our builder.

Scheduling process was simple with good availability options. Joe and Stephanie were great to work with making the process easy to navigate. The online report showed how thorough the inspection was. Would recommend to everyone. Plus a veteran discount!
