Accent Surfaces

Working to correct installation. Will go higher on review when issue is corrected. Update: As promised Accent made good on their workmanship and promised response. Thank you for getting us the countertops we were hoping for!

The countertops look great and the installers were nice guys. I am just frustrated that the hole for the kitchen sink faucet is off center about 1/4 an inch. I did not catch it before the installers left, but how do you fix it? The picture shows it. I have a 30" sink. I centered a long ruler at 15" over the hole for the faucet and then put sticks perpendicular to the ruler at zero and 30 inches.

On the right side of the sink you can see more countertop show on the inside of the stick. Frustrating to have worked with nice people and to have beautiful countertops, but the sink faucet is off center.

We appreciate the professional help that we received, even had a special request to install quickly, which they did. The finished product is very lovely and we are very satisfied with the results. The technicians also cleaned up very well before they left. Thank you so much for a job well done.

The 2 Accent Countertop Installers showed up on time and performed a very professional installation, then thoroughly caulked the seams with silicone sealant and then cleaned all of the granite countertop surfaces, without leaving a trace.! I'm extremely satisfied and happy with the end result. Thank you ACCENT Countertops.! EDL.

RUN! This company make it sound too good to be true because it isn't true. They may have the lowest price to start but they are so dishonest and will call 3 times after you are months into your job and demand that you pay them more and more each time. They ended up being $1,347 over our next choice (when choosing from other companies) for countertops.

First excuse they gave me was the invoice I paid the first time wasn't accurate on the square footage. The next excuse they said they completely missed a whole bathroom on my bid so that wasn't included in the payment so to complete that they needed more money. The third time they called to charge me more they said the things like the edge work and backsplash and "extras" weren't accounted for on the invoice.

When I voiced to Chris that I felt like they were being dishonest and trying to gouge us for more money. He said "then go somewhere else"! Terrible customer service. Now 4 months in and waiting to move into the home and financially unable to wait longer he puts us where no one wants to be. Up a creek without a paddle. We needed to get it done so we paid but it was clear their tactics and how they operate is not new to them.

Then weeks after they get the tops put in we are still waiting on the backsplash and I have to call 8 times to get it scheduled to finish our countertops. This is hand down the worst company I have ever worked with in my life. Lesson learned do not go with the cheapest option. Terrible! The only good thing was the installers and that's because they aren't even part of Accent they are subs. STAY AWAY ITS NOT WORTH IT.

They made the whole process easy and my countertops look amazing! The installers were very friendly and professional, and they cleaned everything up after they finished. Highly recommend!

Not impressed. The slab was damaged before install, which we would have appreciated a call about or a heads up before the crew attempted install. The repair they attempted was not even close. On second install, the crew damaged a cabinet and said nothing, as well as cutting the sink out in the house. No clean up was done, overall will not be using for my next project.

BEWARE! Accent showed up to my home to install my counters (that were ordered 6 weeks ago from Home Depot). There were only two men who were trying to move and install large Quartz slabs in the basementwhich is just asking for trouble. I watched as they attempted to install the slab into my basement kitchenette, but the slab was way too heavy for 2 people to lift.

They decided to rest the slab against the walls putting deep gouges into the drywall and door frame nearby. I was caught off guard at their lack of respect for others property, but calmed down a bit when they assured me Accent would send someone to take care of the damages. I sent an email the next day asking when I could expect it to be repaired and got a reply saying they are not responsible and that they suggested not having finished drywall until after counters are installed. I will NEVER use them again.
