We've built with many different home builders, and Ence, by far, was the most professional, consistent, communicative and on-time builder we've worked with. Ence's real estate agent, Karen, was superb and worked hard to secure our contract. Our construction supervisor provided regular updates on construction process, and I am still amazed and impressed with how fast they built the home, without (seemingly) sacrificing quality. From our experience, I would definitely recommend Ence Homes.

We used Ence Builders to build our home in St. George, Utah. They finished 2 months before they said they would and the home is beautiful. We had an independent inspector look over the house before closing and he couldn't find anything wrong, something he said was very rare, even with new builds. The process was easy and Ence was fantastic to work with, even though we lived in another state. I would highly recommend Ence Builders.

My husband and I visited St. George Utah to see if this might be the best place for us to find our forever home. We looked at eight different home builders before we chose Ence. We fond the right floor plan at Pocket Mesa, Ed and Greg were exceptional to work with during the build and after. We worked with Amanda at the design center and her 18 years of experience was very helpful in helping us pick the materials for the interior and exterior of our new home. Tyson our project manager was instrumental at keeping us informed and the build on time.

The entire Ence Homes team has always been there to support us and answer all our questions through this process. We are excited to start this next chapter in our lives in our new home.

We're in the process of building our 3rd home and our experience with Ence was by far the best! I really wish they built statewide! Their homebuyer portal keeps you updated on the building process and they sent pictures throughout each step. Really wish we had them as an option in the new city we're building in now! Don't waste your time and money with this company. Two months and lots of thousand dollars wasted to learn this the hard way. Go with American Heritage. They DO work with you to build your home the way YOU want it and for a fraction of Ences price. These people are thieves

This organization was the best we've ever worked with for the home building and buying process. They are courteous, thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable. From the Design Center to the walk-through and signing they answered every question and concern in a timely manner. They provided weekly email updates on the progress of the home. The Ence Bros. themselves were personally involved in the process. Our home took 2 months from start to finish and the end product is beautiful and everything we hoped for. We strongly recommend Ence Homes to everyone!

These are nice homes and the plans are great. The sales people we spoke with were very helpful also, BUT be sure to question them thoroughly before you sign the contract. You have 30 days to choose your decor items and to put down 10% which is impossible to get back once you sign. We are happy with the home, but they keep VERY tight control over the process and the "design center" process is extremely lengthy ( 2 days). IMO it is designed to add substantial cost to the price.

The advertised price is most likely NOT what you will pay. We were very conservative on our choices, as this was being built as a rental, and we still paid $16K more than the advertised price. There is lots of subtle pressure to sell you up. If you are investor, you need to know up front that you cannot advertise this as a coming soon or do any pre-marketing.

That said, this is reputed to be the best builder in the area for an affordable home. Just do your homework before signing to avoid frustration. Be sure to ask about the warranty requirements beforehand also, especially windows and roof. This is the 6th new home we have purchased in our lifetime and their warranty process is not like what we are used to-several caveats for their side of the warranty and feels like they are resistant to questions and complaints.

The owners of ence decide who will have a home built in their construction area! just because you ask questions about what was told about what comes standard and were told by the worker at the model home was not true! and when you go to pick out things at the design center and they did not like what you had to say about it and you ask more questions, they turn around and tell you they wont build your home and they are done with you! they tell you that you are not happy! what kind of business owner tell you crap like that? oh yes the model home worker then lies to the owners (her boss) to save her a$$. what a bunch at ence homes. I consider that discrimination what they did! going to notify the builders association and few others on this matter!

Building with Ence Homes was an absolutely perfect experience! Our design specialist (Teri) guided us through designing our home to exactly what we wanted, and even better than I could have hoped for. We built from out of town and were so impressed by the communication provided through out sales agent (Ed) and our site superintendent (Decker). I never questioned what was happening or the quality of the work that was being done.

The Homeowners Portal was an awesome way to keep us updated on the progress of the build. Right up to the final walk through, we felt confident in the design and quality of the home we purchased. Well done Ence Homes!
