Schad was founded as Schad Boiler Setting Company in 1942 to serve the World War II industrial boom in Detroit. Throughout the past 80 years, we have grown to service a wide variety of industries. Schad was born in 1888 in Bradford, Indiana, just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky.
