They pride themselves on quality. They can build great houses, more expensive than most other builders. But their subcontractors cut corners and they don't take accountability for this. When we try to get these addressed, the response is "well this has never happened before" or "this is just the way it is". We've had a suboptimal HVAC, uneven flooring, and a flooded bathroom because the plumber couldn't put the bolt and valve on a faucet properly and probably didn't check it after install. NO ACCOUNTABILITY. DO NOT BUILD. Message me privately and I can give you many more details of how the building process goes down.

A project superintendent from this company plowed through a robotic survey instrument of mine barricaded by cones while he was on his cell phone. About a $30,000 act of negligence. This company will not even call me back to provide me their insurance information. Seems to be all about the money for them. I'd guess if they built a home for you they would try and screw you too!

Just finished building a house with Romanelli & Hughes. Our friends told us we were the most relaxed people they'd ever seen that were building. This company is top-notch. They're responsive, professional, reliable and only work with the best contractors. Can't recommend them enough if you're building.
