Services
Hermanson's goal is to offer our clients the best in mechanical construction, engineering and service. To accomplish our mission, we must be our clients' most customer-focused and reliable partner. We must achieve our work in a friendly, professional, and dependable fashion - encouraging our clients to feel comfortable not only with the quality of our work but also with the quality of the relationship.
In 1979, after almost 25 years in the Sheet Metal Industry, Jerry Hermanson decided to step out on his own and founded Hermanson Corporation. Jerry's journey began as a Sheet Metal apprentice in Bremerton. He worked his way through the trade to Project Management, eventually leading the establishment of large sheet metal shops and managing the construction of heating systems along the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.
Whether it is emergency repair of an air conditioning system on an 85-degree day or planned inspections and maintenance to help avoid an inconvenient and costly crisis, Hermanson's Service Department brings you the expertise and dedication you need. Hermanson's Service specialists provide cost effective, comprehensive preventative maintenance and around-the-clock emergency service for HVAC and Plumbing equipment and systems.
As a leading Mechanical Contractor in the Pacific Northwest, Hermanson offers a comprehensive suite of mechanical system design, construction and repair & maintenance services. Within each of our specialty areas, we offer the best of both worlds - state-of-the-art technology and good old-fashioned hard work and dependability - so that we exceed our customers' expectations.

Talk about hidden fees and unfair billing practices. The guy was here for 20 mins to replace a part which I already bought and had waiting for him here. I know - I was home and at my building we log all access. I was charged for 2 service hours plus additional fees. I bought the replacement part from my building and was told by the building manager it was an easy fix, that he or I could do it, but that it might be worth spending a couple bucks for a pro because if we did it wrong (unlikely though that might be) it would flood the building.
I agreed. Enter Hermanson Company - The invoice that was emailed to me much later despite saying ON the invoice that it SHOULD BE PRESENTED at the time of service for accuracy (wonder why that didn't happen?) I was charged for 2 hours of service, an "environmental fee" and a "truck charge". Wendy Lewis -Lead Service Billing Coordinator - explained these when asked by saying "The truck charge and environmental fees are items that are charged to every service call.
These cost cover items that we don't charge individually for: examples would be fuel, insurance, licensing & registration, disposing of items, rags, bags, gloves, etc." AND - "I understand that it seems like he only work on your service call for 20 min. In reality it takes time to get to your location, find parking in Seattle and when finished with the job, fill out paperwork.
All of this time adds up to the 2 hours. " PS - no rags, bags or gloves were involved. I would think that fuel, insurance, licensing and registration would be part of the cost of doing business. if I have to pay for it per service then at least tell me, because it's not normal to charge each customer for that. Also, service calls are normally billed for the time spent on the premises. Apparently now it includes all the above. Total BS. So, the work was fine, the guy was nice, the charges are ABSURD.
