JAM did another Winter season of snowplowing and road treatment for us at Oakland Farm. They never get better, in fact the service is worse every year. Constant noise in the middle of the night because of poor planning as well as excessive sand spreading. They do not handle complaints well and the management company knows they do a terrible job and have admitted it. Not sure why they keep the contract, probably because no one else will do business with them.

Owner doesn't take responsibility for his mistake and subpar work. Sand is used for traction, not ice melt and when it is applied before it snows or ice is present then its senseless to use. I understand they cannot predict weather, that is what weather forecasts are for. Terrible service with no common sense. Update, JAM still providing a senseless service for plowing. 1-2 fell, they came and spread sand on top of the snow only to plow minutes later.
I hope they realize that this is senseless since the plowing will literally plow the sand away rendering useless on the side of the road. Heavy machinery is loud and obnoxious.

Very unprofessional company, we were going to buy a new house they constructed and I found multiple issues with the quality of work, sheetrock screws coming out, unnecessary holes in the roof that they covered up and cracks in the foundation. They tried to pass it off as normal so its apparent they operate a unethical business. JAM construction did build a house on Randolph way in Portsmouth, not a very well built house but they built it. I still have the contract. So the owner is either absent minded or is dishonest.

Called JAM in for an emergency water line break at a critical facility, and at a moment's notice, they were on site and worked through the night to fix the leak, and get the water flowing again. Their crew demonstrated great logistical knowledge of the situation and work tirelessly until the job was completed. The facility residents and the property manager could not stop complimenting their hard work. I will always trust my critical jobs to JAM.
