My wife and I decided to contact Buckley for our new construction project, because it was important to work with a local firm. We were extremely impressed with the way they handled the job, heating and air conditioning, from the beginning to finish.

Terrible experience. They thought they could come on my property remove their tanks with my propane fuel in it without reimbursement! Technician Called the police on me at my own house! Turns out. I was right, they were wrong. Wrote me a check! Wouldn't do business with this company ever! Don't say I didn't tell you so!

I hoped they would handle their issues in a professional way! I was promised to have an investigation done over a fake delivery that I never received and never nor got a bill for it " after my 1 season contract"until a collection agency contacted me when I always pay my bill in a day or 2 max, then it took few weeks I never heard from them again, so I called again and paid a fake bill. I had absolutely not a good experience. I hope they will pay attention to customer satisfaction and track their trucks.

Highly recommend. Buckley was the least expensive of all the quotes I received. The installation went flawless, every thing worked and have had no problems. I had them install 3 mini splits. Six months later my 62 yo furnace finally got to the point that I needed to replace. Again their quote was the least expensive even from a quote I received 3 years prior from a different company. Ed did the the installation of the mini splits.
He did such a good job, I was able/ willing to wait to be put on his schedule for installation of the furnace as well. I've seen installation of mini splits by GEM Pros and I don't think they did as nice of a job as Buckley did for me.

Really wish I could give this company zero stars. Have been a loyal customer for many years and was charged over $1.00 more per gallon than the going rate for oil. Was charged more than $5.00 a gallon. Was hold for more than 30 mins while their customer service team in NY and NJ tried to find someone to assist me. Spoke with one of the managers that had no interest in retaining me as a customer. I have currently switched to a local company that so far has been wonderful to deal with and has competitive rates. Stay Away!

Zero stars. They delivered oil to my house last week without notice despite having asked to receive a courtesy notice via phone, text or email the day prior. They charged me 5.09 a gallon. It cost $700 to fill half of my oil tank. I called to have them explain this price to me. They said my cost is based on my usage. I'm a single mom of one who keeps the heat at 62 when away and never higher than 67 with a Nest thermostat.
My oil is only for heat. When I asked them to explain what that meant they put me on hold for 5 minutes. When they returned they told me they have submitted my request to cancel my service with them. I am outraged. Please don't ever use them unless you like to throw money away.

I was charged 4.70 a gallon for home heating oil (1/26/22) when going market rate was somewhere around 3.20 a gallon. I have a service contract but can't cancel because they don't answer the phone. I have called for three days now. Once a good company, Buckley seems to no longer value their customer or customer service. I will be switching to getnetfuels.com as they have good customer service and charge the going market rate.

Buckley Oil has the highest prices of all places we called and terrible customer service.do your homework and call around to diff oil suppliers before using them. They auto delivered when we asked them not to and charged more than $1.00 (like $1.40!) a gallon than other local oil companies. you will experience long wait times to talk to a customer rep (30-60min), the 'hold place in line' call back system does not work, and they will not connect to a manager. Do not recommend.

I have been a regular customer of Buckley for over 17 years. For the past 2-3 days I have been trying to call and schedule a delivery, because our "auto" delivery doesn't sem to come soon enough. I have to keep leaving a call back number but no one calls back. I'm about to call another delivery Co. The path to the tank has been shoved and ready, and we'd like delivery before another storm hits!

We recently joined Buckley for our heating oil and propane needs. Additionally, we contracted with Buckley for the installation of a 500 gallon underground propane tank in June 2021. Buckley's performance has been substandard in form of customer support, timeliness of completing commitments and responsiveness to direct customer complaints. I certainly understand that many service companies are facing new challenges as a result of COVID-19 with much slower than historical supply chain fulfillment and staffing shortages.
My primary issue with Buckley is that apparent lack of recognizing the importance of keeping customers well informed and providing some indication that customer satisfaction matters. I wanted my selection of Buckley as our new provider of heating oil and propane to go well and was willing to give them multiple chances to perform. Unfortunately, to-date, their responsiveness and customer focus has not shown signs of improvement. I recommend you shop around and take reviews like this one in consideration before selecting Buckley.

I was a Buckley customer for three years and even wrote a glowing review after year one. Since then Buckley's oil prices are now 10% more per gallon than competitors and their Oil Burner service contracts are up over $300 per year. They also kept sending our bill to the wrong location after I called them twice to get that corrected. I finally sent in a final check by mail with a note detailing my concerns.
A nice lady called me back and said she would alert her General Manager of my concerns. I never heard back so I am with Taber Oil now and all of these issues I had with Buckley are not a problem now.

I have been a customer since 2006, but there has been a big change in quality of service in the past year. I have a service contract ($219/yr) with them for my central AC. This year they cancelled 3 hours into a 4 hour window for the seasonal tune-up. They couldn't reschedule for a month. When the technician finally came for the tune-up the end result of that visit was minimal cooling and alarms going off because water wasn't draining from my attic unit. Waited another 10 days for their second try to get it tuned up for the season.
After this visit my unit was loud, running continuously- only shutting off for a few seconds and then turning back on with a bang.and still not cooling! It was 85 in my house(7/22) when I called and was told that the earliest appointment to come back to try again was 7/30! This is the best they could do for a customer with a service contract! I called another company.
They came out the same day, spent two hours taking the block of ice off the unit in the attic, recalibrating it and adding coolant. End of story- Finally, the unit is running quietly, the house is cooling right to the desired temperature. I called to try to let Buckley know how dissatisfied I was with recent service(I won't even go into the nightmare with their credit office which continues to charge my credit card for services I have cancelled) but despite several attempts to connect with someone who is supposed to "reach out" to unhappy customers my phone calls have not been returned.

Called to get a minor propane leak fixed outside for a gas grill that was tied into the household propane tank. I told them it was very minor and the gas was shut off, I just wanted to schedule a timely repair. They told me it was there protocol to call the fire department, I told them it was not necessary and they said they would have to call and sent a technician over on overtime to inspect the situation.
So I called and when the fire department arrived we reviewed the situation then they called Buckley to tell them it was safe for their technician to come over. However, the office was closed at this point, so I waited two hours for their technician who never showed up. I then called the nighttime propane technician on call and left a message that I had a propane leak, several hours later I received a return call.
I explained the situation, as it was after hours he said he would have the office schedule a repair. Monday morning I called and left a message I had a propane leak, Monday afternoon I left a message with the service manager, Tuesday no response, Tuesday afternoon spoke with the scheduler and explained all of this, she said she would have a technician out on Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon the technician called before his arrival as requested, he asked for a description, when I told him he stated he did not have the part and would have the office reschedule next week.
I explained the house would be occupied this weekend and the gas needed to be repaired and turned on. I am still waiting to hear from Buckley, the home owner has a service contract so they will get immediate assistance for emergencies and preferential response for repairs. I wonder how they treat customers without a contract?
