So rude and unprofessional! After getting something welded the first time it wasn't quite right, so my husband dropped it off again to be fixed and confirmed there would be no charge, since it was a fix from the first service. When he went back there was an additional charge because they couldn't do what he asked so they added something to it and charged for the piece and labor.
My husband disagreed with the way the repair was done and with the additional charge. Alfredo did offer to lower the bill but said there couldn't be no charge because he had time and material in it. I went back with my husband, when he went to pick up, convinced there was just a miscommunication and that if I explained it someone would understand. First, Alfredo stated he wasn't going to speak to me at all because he wasn't doing business with me, only my husband.
Then he insisted that what he did was right, he wasn't going to argue about it, and we could call the police if we wanted. The employee who told my husband there would be no charge changed his story and said that he told my husband "he wasn't sure if there would be a charge". When I tried explaining to that employee that is was wrong to add parts/labor to something without approving it with the customer, and that the piece that added was not what we wanted and now we would have to remove it, Alfredo instructed his employee not to speak to me either.
He told us we either pay the bill or we don't get our property back. We ended up having to pay for work we didn't ask for, that we have to remove, and still pay someone else to do it the way we wanted in the first place.
