When choosing the Design-Build method, the owner places project responsibility and control under a single contract with one team - the "sole responsibility" concept. The Design-Build contractor assumes responsibility for all phases of the project, rather than dividing it between engineers, designers and subcontractors.
Perform inspections of fabricated structural steel; to include periodic and continuous inspection of welding, weld fit-up, dimensional inspection of cuts, copes, camber, and holes on holes only beams, plain material, angles, and ship loose pieces, both in-process and final, to ensure pieces meet drawing requirements.
