Our homeowners enjoy top quality construction, innovative floor plans and home designs, along with top brands you know and trust. Sierra Homes is one of the top custom and new home builders in northern Utah with locations from Cache Valley to Utah Valley, and parts of southern Idaho.

We specialize in affordable luxury. Building a custom home can be a daunting task, but we make it simple with several base packages that can be customized according to your tastes.
Services
Before construction begins we guide you through the entire building process, set out timetables for construction and answer any questions you might have. Done after framing and insulation are finished and just before drywall is setup. Your site-manager will give you a guided tour, letting you inspect the inner workings of your new home.
The whole process of building our home with Sierra was great. When we first met with Jay, we were impressed with his professionalism and the informative way he explained the building process. Courtney was both helpful and patient as we chose colors, trim details, faucets and the many others finishing decisions we had to make.

Sierra homes has Beautiful homes whose construction I really liked. Kelsey, the builders agent, though appearing rather new to this whole thing, was very professional. We loved the lot, the house and many other things regarding this so we pushed the button to move forward. We were sent a contract and, as expected, they were very excited to get us under contract as quickly as possible.

But it was during this contract review that I encountered the "Non-Disparagement clause" I've included a screenshot of this for your perusal. It was this that broke our hopes. There were little problems here or there that I think we could have worked through, but it's clauses like this that prove wrong the old adage "it never hurts to ask" because its mere presence (asking us) in the contract means that the builders reputation was tarnished beyond help. Clauses like these (gag orders and Non-disparagement clauses) were reviewed by Congress and deemed unenforceable by the Fair Consumer Reporting act of 2016.

I find it impossible to believe the builder doesn't know this, and yet in Jan 2022 they are still putting this in. The degree of care and concern that has been poured into this clause (it was the the most wordy clause in their contract), where other clauses are left quite vague, that it was buried in the contract (page 9 of 13) and that it's unenforceable are all red flags that made me shut down my pursuit of this house with a vote of utter no confidence in the builders ethics.

No wonder they have such a high rating if they can nail anybody with a $10,000 bill (due immediately) if they catch you. Even if their customers merely believe it to be true. You get 2 stars for professional agents and good looking homes.

My husband and I built with Sierra Homes back in 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's been a few years now, and we still absolutely love our home!

I have been very happy with Sierra homes and Jon Sorenson, from start to finish it has gone seamless. when something did not go as planned I would text Jon that night more often then not the next day he was getting the issue resolved. I would recommend sierra homes to anyone that was building a home for a good honest, fast, quality built home you can't go wrong! they have been in the house building game awhile and it shows by the way they organize and execute. highly recommended on my part!

Don't go with Revere homes. Formally known as Sierra homes, but hey if I had as crappy of work as them I would try to cover it up and rebrand myself too. We are a year into our house and still having problems. Our whole neighborhood has had problems one way or another. Nails popping through the wall, carpet already fraying, and our lawn is horrendous that has sunk on 2 sides of our house with sprinklers that only half of them work. Neighbors are also having their yard/front walk sink because of them not compacting it right.

I have heard complaints of cabinets pulling away from the wall, nails popping out as well, A/C not working, paint a poor quality or mismatched when "fixed". It is a constant fight to get them to come out and fix their cheap mistakes and they basically only put a bandaid on it. We pay a lot of money for a home especially a brand new one we shouldn't be dealing with all this. Be careful and go somewhere else, they are cheap and cut as many corners as possible hoping you won't notice or complain.

We built our home with Sierra Homes this past year and couldn't be happier! Jon was our Superintendent and he was AMAZING to work with. He always made us feel like it was the only home he was building and when we would have a concern (big or small) it was immediately addressed. I cant say enough good things about Sierra Homes and their crew! From Architect, Design Meetings to Framing and Finish Work, the system they have in place for building a home makes it a fun and smooth process. Would highly recommend Sierra Homes if you are in the market to build.

We're so glad we had Sierra Homes build our new home. We considered several builders before we selected them. Sierra Homes included things such as the air conditioner in the base house price that other builders charged extra for. Jeff personally inspected a number of building lots with us to help us pick the perfect lot. The Sierra team gladly made every change to the house plans we requested to ensure we'd be happy with our new home.

The supervisors Mike and Nick were very helpful and professional. They spent a lot of time at the house making sure the subs followed the plans. We were pleasantly surprised when the house was completed several weeks early. We felt that Sierra Homes made the building process as stress-free and smooth as possible. We had a great experience with Sierra Homes and recommend them to anyone looking to build a quality home.

Looks like Sierra Homes is rebranding as Revere Homes in central Utah. This is clearly an attempt to manage the awful reputation which Sierra Homes has. Stay away from Revere Homes in the same way you should stay away from Sierra Homes. If you go with Sierra / Revere, low construction standards, constantly slipping dates, and crappy paint quality will come with your extra high price.

We have been in our brand new Sierra home for a month now! We absolutely love it and are so happy with the results. When we signed on to build last March we had researched many home builders, but Sierra Homes stood out and made us feel like we were family. They made the process as stress free as they could and were with us every step of the way. The house is beautiful and the quality is phenomenal. After seeing the process and how smooth they made things for us, my little brother and his wife have decided to build with them as well! They are the best!

I would recommend anyone to build their dream home with Sierra Homes. They were great to work with and were honest in their dealings with me. I appreciate a company who represents HONESTY! If I had a question or concern they were quick to respond to me. My home turned out beautiful and would give this company 5 stars for the quality of the whole building process, the people I worked with and the outcome of my dream home! Thanks!

We were referred to Sierra Homes by our close friends about a year ago. Never imagining we would be able to build a home, we met with the owner. Within a couple of months we broke ground. Any questions/doubts/changes we had were met head on with Sierra with 100% follow through on what we were promised or what we wanted. They're a straight forward company allowing you to take control of what you want your home to be.

Easy to work with. Easy to talk to without the run around. Four months from ground breaking we moved into our beautiful new home. I would highly recommend Sierra Homes to anyone who wants to look into building. Update - almost 5 years after we built that house we jumped again! We just moved into our dream home (our 2nd Sierra built home) and we are in love!

We recieved great advice from Jeff on how to make a few modifications to the Emerson 1797 to make it more functionable for our family. The whole crew at Sierra is outstanding. They thoroughly explain the process and are meticulous as humanly possible with your home. Thank you to Jay, Courtney, Jeff, Jon and the crew for making this possible!

Know what you're getting into before you build with this company. Sierra is notorious for building cheap small homes as quickly possible and cutting a lot of corners. My neighbors and myself have had a lot of issues with Sierra, especially with using cheaper materials. We built a custom home and I feel like it was a constant debate over every little thing.

I felt nickeled and dimed. After all was said and done I felt that Jeff and Jay the owners had been dishonest and misleading with some things. Over a five year period we've had over a dozen windows that have had to be replaced, broken seals due to improper installation. Carpet coming up off the floor, entry way stairs to front door cracking, forgot to install down spouts, and the list goes on. Also, please be aware of Nancy Davis Buckway their realtor.

It was a living nightmare working with her. She is one of the most deceitful and dishonest people I have ever met. Never let a realtor represent both sides. In most states it's illegal but not in Utah. We wanted to be hopeful that Sierra and Nancy would be fair and honest, unfortunately it did not turn out that way. Take a walk through a sierra development before you build and speak to the home owners.
