Gary from Atlantic Coast Waterproofing and his crew did an incredible job waterproofing our basement. He kept us aware of every step, followed through on everything he said. Work was well done, timely, and they cleaned up behind them. We would not hesitate to recommend!

Atlantic Coast Waterproofing, Gary and his team, did a great job on my basement! I had originally contacted another company. I got a quote and plan but I had a hard time getting a start date. After speaking to Gary and seeing his plan I was really glad I contacted Atlantic Coast. Gary is very conscientious about his work and, after all the work I went through to get the basement ready, I wanted it done right. It was.

We bought our ranch in 1997 and had years of flooding issues in the basement after remediation and new carpets I hired Gary in 2007 with Atlantic Coast Waterproofing. It was a game changer for us. Not one leak until yesterday when I started the irrigation system and didn't put the cap on. I noticed water coming into the basement and Gary was out the next day and diagnosed and fixed the problem.

He didn't charge me and said it was covered from the work done in 2007. I give this guy 5 starts. I don't spend time reviewing businesses. I trust him 100%, and thats rare today. Thanks Gary!

Gary and his team did a great job waterproofing our entire basement. It was a big job and they did it in a very timely fashion. Gary, the owner, was on site everyday and working alongside his crew. They only take on one job at a time and were devoted to getting our project done in the time promised (actually earlier) and for the quoted amount. We had Gary fix our wall back in 2015 and have not had an issue since. We had some water in our basement in the same area and Gary came out the same day as our call. It was not related in any way to the work Gary performed. Even though that was the case, Gary was extremely helpful in helping us diagnose the real problem. He also did not charge us anything for the service call. Great results and phenomenal customer service.

After consulting many of the other big name waterproofers in metro Detroit, my wife and I decided to hire Atlantic to install their drainage system in our basement. We're glad we did. We opted for a full perimeter internal system with two sump pumps, which had flooded despite having the Waterguard system sold by a competitor that proved faulty after 10 years. Gary is the owner and provides an estimate of every job himself.

He also is part of the crew, every day, so you know you are getting the best work done. Every work day, Gary would go over the work that was done that day and what was the next step in the installation process. He was considerate, professional, and knowledgeable. Having your basement flood is not a fun situation, but this crew was able to relieve a lot of the stress of major home problem.

I had water coming into my basement from my Egress window. I received several estimates from other companies. But Atlantic Coast won the job, first impression is everything, when I called I spoke to his wife, who was so polite and understanding. Gary came out and took his time explaining everything thoroughly, he showed me pictures of previous jobs that he had completed with issues like mine.

We bought our house in the summer of 2017. When the snow thawed in the spring if 2018, we found our basement underwater. Once it dried out we took down the wood paneling from the walls and found years and years of water damage. (Which, kindly, wasn't disclosed by the sellers) Like any homeowner, we got multiple quotes. Several companies offered a discount if we didn't have permits pulled and said how they could get the job done MUCH faster if that were the case. RED FLAG! Gary came out and explained how everything worked when our house was built in the 60's and how the drainage can break down over time.

He went over every step of the procedure and explained why it would take about 2 weeks with inspections while the other guys were promising 2-3 days at most. Do you want the job done fast or do you want it done right?!? While Atlantic Coast Waterproofing is not the cheapest, they are the best, and time after time Gary has stood by his word and work.

Here we are in the Fall of 2021. We live in Howell, but if you live in any of the surrounding areas, you know that this has been the wettest summer ever. A couple months ago our basement flooded, absolutely no fault of the fantastic waterproofing job. It was due to the over 24 hour power outage and the amount of rain that came down. Well, this morning our sump pump stopped working, but because of the high quality pump that was used and 5 year warranty, Gary was out here within 1.5 hours of our call with a new sump pump in hand.

My advice to you, is to get the battery backup when he explains it! If I had to do it all over again I would choose Atlantic Coast Waterproofing. Every. Single. Time. We had Gary and Atlantic Coast Waterproofing install our basement waterproofing/drain system in 2013 and we have been completely satisfied ever since. Recently after a strong storm and multi day power outage, we called Gary with a couple of concerns that we had in our basement. Gary came out inspected the system, flashed it, provided the necessary maintenance and made all the required repairs.

Although the repairs were not related to the initial drain installation Gary did not charge us a penny! We have dealt with professional contractors before but Gary stands out for going above and beyond regardless of what questions we may have. I would very highly recommend this company! Very thorough explanation of everything that needs to be done, very friendly, polite and honest. The owner came to my home and could not have explained things any better. Basement repair is not a cheap expense and you definitely want to hire a good company and I believe this one is great! Someone could easily steer a homeowner in the wrong direction to make more money off of you, he treated me like he was repairing his own basement giving great advice!
