Terrible communication about when building was going up. Delayed job. Improper gutter installation by their sub- was clear with Cleary about intentions of not having snow load on the roof. Addressed this to the manager after gutters failed. I ended up having to pay for another company to come out to put new gutters up. Finally getting around to turning my building into my home.

I removed the tin to find that none of the seams in the vapor barrier had been taped and most of the insulation is contaminated. Unresponsive to the first issue of the gutters. Finally came up to look at insulation and still don't have an answer on my gutters. This is a building that has only been up for 3 years. Gutters and the construction of the building did not occur during the Covid period so that is not a valid excuse. I work hard for what I've got and to be pushed aside and treated like this is unreal. Should have put up a Morton.

Just nowNEW We signed our contract with Cleary buildings on 3/19/2021. We had never had anything built before. We had lots of questions and concerns since our property was in a flood zone. We wanted to make sure this would no cause any unforseen issues. As we had a set budget and would be unable to go over. Our sales rep assured us this would not be an issue and that he would hold our hand through the entire process.

That he would help with the permits and anything else that would need to be done. They told us the build would be completed by the end of July. We never heard a peep from them after that. On August 3rd we reach out to our sales rep. We were told that they were having issues with Pueblo Zoning. Because the explanation didn't make sense. I contacted Pueblo Zoning and was told they had only had one email concerning our property and it was dated August 1st.

The zoning office informed me that there was indeed a process when building in a flood zone. Starting with an enginer to the tune of $2000.00. Who informed us that our building would need to be elevated 18 inches to 36 inches off the ground. Wondering how we would utilize a garage that is 3 feet off the ground. I reached out to Cleary. I was told the only option was to cancel the order and loose our 11,000.00 deposit.

We had already spent 5000.00 on the prep and we were unwilling to waist the money we had invested so far. We had vacant land in another county and decided to move the build site. Cleary was willing but it would cost us more money. Also we would need to modify the building plans for snow load and to move the awning and a door to accommodate the new build site. Costing us more money.

At this point I had had enough. I had already reached out the Cleary's headquarters with no results. I requested that we be assigned a new sales rep. Our new rep was amazing. For the first time things seemed to be moving forward. Our calls were returned. We were getting navigational directions. Then our new rep called and said he was taking a management position in another city.

I actually cried when the call ended. Back to the old rep and nothing getting accomplished. Today was the last straw. Last week we were told that our materials would be delivered on 4/11/2022. That date came and went. No call no delivery. I again reached out to Cleary headquarters. I once again elaborated on what had happened over the past year. Complaining about the lack of customer service at the Pueblo office.

I explained that I had only had one individual that had ever stepped up. Instead of getting an apology or even an acknowledgement I was informed that I was falsely giving praise to the staff member that I had mentioned and was told that he had been fired for drinking on the job. I have never been so appalled. That a person in a management position would be so unprofessional as to divulge such personal information about an employee.

As of today we have been given yet another date. I have no faith it the new date. My advise is choose another builder. If you have no other options, make Cleary put everything in writing. (EVERYTHING)

I wanted to add an extension onto my existing Cleary building several months back. I contacted them through the website and was directed to the south Kansas office. It took weeks to get an estimate, which I thought was high, so I completed getting some additional bids. Everything thing has gone up and so I asked for a material list and pricing only quote.

It took a while, and when I got it it seemed too high for what I was doing so I reached out to a contact I had from when I had it built, and he told me that it was right and he would have the Kansas office reach out to me. After two weeks, (no response) I contacted the Kansas office once again, gave them all the measurements for me to get a quote for just the matching metal and trim as it made sense for me to buy the lumber and have it installed locally at about 30% of what they wanted just for the materials.

I asked if they could and would let me buy the metal from them, (matching colors) so I gave them all the measurements. I was contacted by email that I would take more than a week to get the quote and that if I made a decision to purchase that it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get the product. Not fully understanding that they don't have a price per linear foot and trim cost but I accepted that it may be a few days.

It has now been a month since my material list was submitted. (Still no contact or price of metal) Too add to no response, I was on the roof to get the measurements and only half the screws on the existing building are in place. I thought they built an very nice building when it was done, but never climbed up on the roof to see if all the screws were put in place. Very disappointed with the workmanship and the lack of information available.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness The Customer reviews on the Better Business Bureau website say it all. yikes! Not professional. Lack integrity. Poor follow through. There are soooo many other options out there.

They built building for me poor quality for price I paid, I would not recommend the 2 so called carpenters they had they should not be left unsupervised, the front of my building and roof looks terrible, it was not worth what I paid, the owner of company should take a look at it, they cut corners really piss poor work probably will get a lawyer or call better business bureau. Not happy at all

Absolutely the worst General Contractor Ever! Go 100% Local. Out of 3 bids, Cleary was the mid. There is way to many negatives to post on here, i would be typing for days. Do not waste your hard earned money on a company that does nothing but give you the runaround, and false promises. The only thing good about the company was the Job Foreman Himself.

Very straight forward guy. I believe Larry was his name, and he was from the Pueblo office. This guy knows his stuff. I would hire him personally in a heartbeat. This gentleman did all he could in his power to help. Whatever he is getting paid is not enough. This gentleman does not belong at Cleary, he is too good to work for such a company. The Sub-Contractors were great though. NEVER AGAIN, will this company get our business.

At the end of construction, they sent me a customer satisfaction survey instruction form. I went online to fill out this survey, and Cleary has taken down the survey tab. I wonder why?

This experience was wonderful. We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our new building. We were really impressed with the integrity of all the crew and manager Gary Durell. The weather was a bit challenging, but they were adament about keeping the schedule. They were always in touch with us, and we always new what was going on from start to finish. Thank you for doing such a great job. You will be recommended to others we know in the future.

A 3 man crew built our shop in 3 days in the worst windiest cold weather. Service from beginning to end with this company was wonderful. Excellent building!

I purchased a building in July 0f 2016 with the idea that it would be done in September, a month later the Lebanon Indiana Manager shows up to set up the site and tells me that if the dirt work was not done the material would not be ordered. I said then we need to cancel this until the dirt work gets done he said nope you signed the contract and there is a restocking fee.

I received a phone call from the region manager that stated this. (ON MATERIALS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN ORDERED) is what I said. So basically they had nobody to build my building. This building is about as far from being right as it can be and it can be seen by naked eye. Finally in January 2017 the only worker left on the crew shows up in dark demanding the final payment on a building that was not finished, screws missing, j channel not even attached poor very poor quality.

I said no the doors where not installed correctly the next day started the harassing phone calls about a lien on my property and after three weeks of this I received notification that they had put a lien on my property on a building that was not finished and is a mess! I had way more important things going so I made the final payment to get them to go away.

Ok so I have complained enough to this company that they all knew about the issues including upper management as I was harassed by the president of operations for more money(it is documented) the VP of operations has stated that they reviewed this with their management and no one was aware. Read the reviews and this building is on display to show their workmanship! google name
