Apple Tree Home Inspection

I am a student home inspector who had the privilege of shadowing Tom during multiple inspections. Despite being high in demand and busy, he was sharp, courteous, and very thorough when it came to explaining his findings with both myself and the clients. He's an inspector that knows what he's doing and consistently shows integrity as well as a deep level of care for his job. Tom is a man you can trust to provide an inspection report that doesn't miss a beat.

He will answer any question you have, reassure you if you have any concerns, and be honest about his findings. I learned a great deal of knowledge/skills from shadowing Tom and mean it from the bottom of my heart when I say he's one of the best home inspectors in New Jersey. Tom is both reliable and practical. He has a no nonsense approach relying on his vast construction background & experience. Not an alarmist or an inspector looking to be on Broadway, he has an eye for detail and is a valuable tutor for the home buyer. The fact that he also performs UST scabs is a real plus!

Tom never identified nor listed the empty hole in the basement where a sump pump should have been. Tom also ignored the evidence of previous water issues from the back entrance to the basement, including a sewer pipe that I specifically asked about before purchase. I should have trusted my instincts, not Tom's report. The flooding that occurred put my child at risk and forced us into temporary living during the pandemic. Shame on you, Tom. Shame on Rehanna Gallagher for recommending you and lying to me just to make some money.

Tom recently inspected our townhome in Bergen county and I can confirm that he was methodological, detailed, knew his trade, and very professional. He was on time, and got going with the inspection process right from the get-go. In between the inspection process, he took the time to explain / educate various tests that he was conducting and the outcome of it. Overall he was very effective and I highly recommend his service.

Tom was amazing! He arrived early and we got started right on time with our home inspection. Tom was very professional and meticulous in his inspection. He explained to my husband and I when he saw or found anything he was going to include in the report. He took photos of everything for the report so it was very clear to read and understand. Tom also gave us great ideas for making our house even better once we move in. Tom also did a termite inspection and oil tank sweep for us. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and positive to work with. We recommend him whole heartedly! He is the best!

If you want to have a piece of mind, hire Tom. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Dealt with many home inspectors in the past and I wished if I had known Tom sooner, there is no comparison. Price is fair and very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended

Tom was extremely professional and thorough at our home inspection this past weekend. He took the time to explain the reasons he was indicating any issues for his report. He had pictures with detailed descriptions included in his report which was readily available 48 hours later. He was also extremely personable & gave great pointers for items we could easily attend to ourselves. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly & precise home inspector.
