Shield Home Inspection

I've never had an inspector who was more thorough and cared about his job than Andrew at Shield Home Inspection. He went above and beyond what was required and I can honestly say he's the best inspector I've ever worked with and that's no exaggeration.

Andrew did the most thorough job possible and wasn't in a rush to get the job done so he could move on to his next appointment. Even though he's only required to do sample testing on certain items such as electrical outlets, he didn't do that. He checked every outlet, even the ones that were not easily reached. Andrew told me the inspection would take about 4 hours to complete, which it did but I was warned by another inspector in the area that this size house should only take 2 hrs and to run the other direction if an inspector is taking 4 hrs to inspect a house of this size. Well, I would run from the inspector who told me this.

I shadowed Andrew the whole process and to be as thorough as he was it took 4 hrs. Besides Andrews price being far below other inspectors pricing, Andrew gives you the report on site when he is finished, a paper copy as well as a copy on DVD and in email form. Most inspectors have to go back to the office to complete the report and you typically don't get it till the end of day or the next day. Don't let Andrews low price scare you. The saying "You get what you pay for" does NOT apply here. Thanks again Andrew and keep up the good work.

Andrew is is extremely professional and highly organized. He showed up on time today, spent 3 hours inspecting a house and finished up inspection report right away. He noticed everything that was wrong in the house and gave us a great report so that we could follow-up on all repairs. The inspection report was incredibly thorough, easy to follow, and had great pictures. The inspection was also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Shied Home Inspection to anyone!

Andrew is very thorough. I worked with several home inspectors and i rate Andrew the best of all. Very professional. Very detail oriented. Just let him do his job and do not disturb him and you will like the results.

As we live out of state and unable to be present during the inspection, he followed up with us immediately after to recap his findings. His prices are very manageable compared to the competition. He is worth every penny.
