We received excellent service from IWired. Everyone who came to my house was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. Aaron was our first service tech who built the rack and installed our many televisions on the wall to Ted Caudle who finished the install at my house. Ted has an awesome personality and was very accommodating. He didn't get tired answering our numerous questions. We actually met Ted on his first day at IWired. He hit the ground running Nobody would know that he was new to IWire! Great job to everyone who came to my house. Thank you!

Ill start by saying the installer was great. Other than that its been a painstaking experience trying to communicate with anyone! It took a whole year to get my house built and within that time Iwire failed to secure a ring camera and an audio reciever. We never got any communication that we weren't getting these items untill the install day (two weeks after moving in.) With supply chain issues we are very understanding but very little info on the missing items were given.
In fact there were numerous calls made to the main number with an equal number of voicemail left with no returned calls or emails regarding our already paid for items. After reaching out to our builders for a more direct contact I was delighted to have Jennifer Wall's info since she seemed responsive. That didn't last long. She okayed me buying my own reciever and assured I would receive a refund for the already purchased reciever that was "sitting in a container somewhere." I was told the refund would be processed in two weeks with no details in how much or how I would receive it.
That was Feb. 15th! I continued to reach out in a polite and patient manner rarely received responses. When I was heard back it was her trying to fit me into their schedule between meetings to try and figure it out. At this point I asked for corporate's number and nothing has come of it. I am a paying customer as I have their security system but will very strongly advise anyone coming into our neighborhood not to bother with IWIRE.

If I could I would rate this company a zero Their services were mandated when I built my Toll Bros home. After the first year they provide no support for their expensive control 4 system. It is impossible to get technical support. They do not return messages and their tech support line is never answered. I have left the same message every day on their tech support request line for 17 days consecutive, with no response.
Their system is incompatible with cable and if you purchase a new tv it is impossible to get assistance getting your new tv set up with your existing control 4 system. They are beyond awful. Avoid them!

Absolutely disgusted with how this company is run. Charging $180 for a service call is absolutely unreal. We have had nothing but issues with all of our equipment and have been told it's "user error". Having to wait weeks, even months for a service call, only to be told it's faulty equipment or not their fault. While your waiting for your "service apt" you will receive a link to trouble short yourself.
Do yourself a favour and find another company to work with. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Spending around $45k for a smart home and having these issues is completely unacceptable. I will also be writing to the Better Business Bureau.

Nathan T. came to install our services in our new home. He was professional and courteous and patient as I had an issue with connecting a printer to the network. He stayed very late to help resolve the issue and went above and beyond. He was very patient and kind and understanding and wanted to do anything he could to help me knowing it was an essential product for my home office.
The attention to detail right down to my control panel to make it immaculate and organized is so very much appreciated. It was refreshing, to say the least, to have customer service be a priority for a change. Thank you, Nathan!

Thank you to Mike W. and Jonathan for a great installation job today! We chose iWired after extensive research of several AV companies when we purchased our new home and have been extremely happy. Everyone we've dealt with is personable, courteous and respectful, and meticulous in their attention to detail. We highly recommend iWired!

As in all businesses. there's a standout, someone who goes the extra mile, someone who is professional, talented and respectful. Someone who makes the customer want to refer their friends family and business associates. That's our Iwire tech Jonathan Lloyd and Jill in technical Support. With 10 of each of them, I can start my own alarm company or any home tech company for that matter. It was a pleasure dealing with them and they made the experience fast efficient and perfect. I wonder if the owners know how amazing they are? Regards J. R

Alan and Mike from iWired arrived on time and completed my home automation installation under the project time estimate. Both were professional, very knowledge and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Did a great job building a custom rack, installing the Conrol4 system and connect all components to the network. I highly recommend iWired, Alan and Mike.

IWired was installed in our new build home. We had no choice in the matter and now we are stuck with a smart-home-overlord system with NO publicly accessible repair documentation to fix our systems ourselves! We changed the wifi password for the house and our garage door system and video doorbell system decided to drop offline because of the password change.
Despite following ALL the steps to get everything back online with the devices individually, it always errors out and says alarm.com is responsible for our crap and that iWired needs to come out and reconnect our devices (that we should 100% be able to fix ourselves). How much would that cost? Oh, according to the company, $180 for a service call. That's the definition of EXTORTION.
This company is so unfriendly to the concept of right to repair, it's disgusting. The only way, apparently, to get around forking over $180 for a stupid repair call is to contact the builder and I guess hope that they have to super secret special proprietary repair knowledge to do something as simple as HOOK UP A GARAGE DOOR AND VIDEO DOORBELL BACK UP TO THE WIFI NETWORK. I'm so angry and frustrated that I have no control over fixing my situation myself. iWired doesn't post ANY repair documentation on their app or website, and there's nothing about simply reconnecting the devices to the wifi on the ipad they install in the new home.
This company is absolutely evil. I hope someone can afford to sue them on behalf of right to repair legislation so that we don't have to be cornered into paying exorbitant money to have a job done that ANYONE should be able to do. Easier said than done to avoid this company, especially if you buy a new build home, but ask questions to the broker and builder about the smart home tech options, and if they say they use iWired, OPT OUT, on behalf of your sanity and your wallet.
I hate this company so much and so does my husband. We are still actively working around this $180 fee and will probably speak with the builder on getting our systems back online. iWired will not win this round if we have any say in the matter.

Erik arrived on time and was very respectful of our house. He took his shoes off even though I didn't ask. He installed a new network panel which required cutting into drywall. He put down a drop cloth and cleaned up entirely after he was finished. He went out of his way to explain every device in the panel and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving.
This is the second time I've used iWired and know I will use them again in the future. It's employees like Erik, that are professional, respectful, and courteous that help make a positive experience for the consumer.

This company is garbage. They will overcharge you, lie to you, nickel and dime you, sell you equipment they knw is defective so they can make more money off their customer, and forget to show up for the job. The people that come out do a half ass job that either requires them to come out again (thus making more money), claim they don't have the stuff to fix it (money!), or come up with excuses not to do the job. Shame on Toll Brothers for using them.
The kickback aren't enough for them, but they've done a great job at figure out how to extort more money from homeowners. They are overpriced and have poor customer service. This is not a company with integrity in any way,

Great customer service to get your business, then once you are a customer everything changes. We used i-wired for our Fulton new build. Several weeks ago Jennifer reached out to me and asked for a second chance to earn our business and rectify the issues we have had with our i-wired products. We recently had an appointment set up to meet with their manager and Jennifer (this had been set up 3 weeks prior-they proposed the date and time they both were available) and approx 2 hours before our meeting I received and email "need to reschedule, my manager is in meetings and I am working on the west side".
I have totally arranged my day for this meeting and obviously i-wired trying to earn our trust was not important! Unfortunately we are under contract with our system for one more year or we would leave! If you are looking for high quality and customer service RUN! This is not what they deliver. I think they are more interested in working with builders, sell you something and cannot deliver ongoing service with their customer afterwards!

If you want your project complete in a timely manner, you may want to consider another company. I have spoken to at least 5 people at this point and have had little success. They have scheduled to complete the work about 3 weeks from today, but would like to sell me some additional services. I just need I Wired to complete their original scope of work that has been paid full by the builder so I can contract some who is not "so busy" to add additional service. I am 35 days in and counting. I wish you luck if you utilize this company.

I am responding to Johnathan's response to my review. I did not meet with Travis - that is not true. I spoke with him over email. And I complained repeatedly about the aesthetics of your window contacts to both the builder and iWired and nothing was ever done about it. The builder told me it's iWired's responsibility to make the contacts look nice.
I posted pictures to show what all my windows look like. It's tacky and ugly and I stand behind my review. Johnathan's comment about me not being happy with the aesthetics is not appropriate unless he's proud of this work? I have had constant problems with the cameras. The fact they work after the tech leaves is exactly my problem. They just quit working randomly.
Currently my doorbell camera doesn't work - already called alarm.com and it has nothing to do with my settings (because I know you'll blame that as you have in the past). I have spent countless hours dealing with this alarm system and I have never had ANY issues with any alarm we've ever had over the last 20 years. Our last two systems were serviced by Alarm.com and we never had a problem at all.
The other day I came home and the alarm didn't go off when I opened the door so I thought it wasn't set. When I tried to turn the alarm on at night it said the system was alarmed. It was alarmed all day with us going in/out of the house and nothing triggered the alarm. I tried to call iWired tech support and they close at 4:30 on weekdays and are closed on weekends. Got a hold of their tech support for yet another issue and she knew nothing and said she had to ask her supervisor and will call me back that afternoon.
I gave her 2.5 days to call me back and no return call. I called again and she went through the exact same conversation we had 2.5 days ago. Doesn't seem to understand the functionality of the system and gave me a reason that clearly wasn't the reason for the problem. She wouldn't stop repeating the same thing so I asked to speak to her manager and after being on hold for quite some time she came back and her manager and I had to talk through her.
I also told her she said she'd call me back and never did and her reply was "we had some things going on in the office". This is the support you pay for every month - think about that when you choose your system.
