Unexpectedly, due to a construction project we ran out of propane. We have young kids, and they came so quick when we called! To top it off the driver Matt was beyond professional! Thank you!

One of their drivers left a customer's vehicle in my yard, tearing up my grass and leaving 8 ruts in my yard. Not to mention, leaving a vehicle in the wrong location, with the keys in it. (My address isn't even in the same city, and I had nothing to do with any of this, except getting my yard torn up) I had to look in the vehicle to find information and track down the owner.

He was in Florida, and his vehicle was supposed to be getting repaired as it had broken down on his way home from Michigan. He called Corrigan and had them pick the vehicle back up from my front yard, and take it to the town 20 miles away, where it was supposed to have gone. I also contacted Corrigan about the damage to my yard. They assured me that it would be repaired.

That was nearly a month ago. I finally got sick of my yard looking terrible, and fixed it myself. This is the level of incompetence you should expect from them. I have pictures of everything, so this is 100% a legit thing that happened.

I believe our driver's name is Gaston ~ from Corrigan Towing in Brighton. He's been out to our place several times now. What a fantastic guy! Totally professional and knowledgeable! Yet so friendly and kind! It was so great when I saw whom it was ~ I said Hi! He said Hi! I thought this was your place! Instantly he knew everything about what needed to be done.

He gave us some tips to help us try and help us stay out of our current issue. *there was one time that he came out to tow my truck to a repair shop that had nothing to do with the gully we tend to fall into when it snows ~ so nice, thank you* Thank you so much to our towing guy! I'll choose Corrigan Towing for all our cars issues!

They might be great when you call them for a regular tow. But here is how they make their real money- taking advantage of people in emergencies. I was in a 9 car pileup and the police use Corrigan Towing to clear the cars out. They had me and my car captive and they made the most of it. They charged me $180 for the tow. That's okay, because they were responding to a police call due to a pile up so I'd expect it to be double the normal tow.

But they wanted more. They then charged me $45 for a 10 mile drive to their site, except that it was only 8 miles. Maybe a mistake, but they didn't reduce the charge when I told them about it. Then they charged me $45 to sprinkle a little environmental material to absorb a leak of radiator fluid. (Probably cost them $10). Still, not enough for them.

They then charged me $60 for literally 24 hours of keeping my car in their parking lot. When I said that was ridiculous, one of their agents said, "Have you ever parked in Chicago, " as if a muddy Brighton parking lot is top retail parking. But that wasn't enough for them. They then charged me a $45 "gate fee" which involved 5 minutes of paperwork and pushing a button to open the gate.

To add insult to injury, they claimed all these prices were fixed based on a contract with the police dept. I called the police department who said most of what they charged was not a part of any contract. I leave you to draw your own conclusions, but it seems to me they have quite a racket going. What's really sad, is that they are taking advantage of people who are going through a hard time, an accident. That's pretty low. Alternatively, they are taking advantage of insurance companies, which drives the price of insurance up, and hurts us all. In the end, they exhibited no remorse. I'd stay far away from them.

My daughter lost her key fob and we had to have our car towed to the Toyota dealership. We called Triangle at 6 AM on Monday they were at the car by 630 and had the car dropped off at the Toyota dealership by seven. The lady that helped us over the phone was professional. Our truck driver Was named SHawn c and he was super friendly very professional very quick and made us feel at ease considering our stressful situation.

I was so glad that we ended up with this company and our total was only $77 which is half of what I thought it was going to be. We definitely recommend this company! We called triangle but receipt says Corrigan towing. 810. 229.6323. Good company.

BEWARE! They will charge you A TON TO TOW! We had to have a motorcycle towed from the Corrigan Oil location on Grand River in Howell to Waterford, MI (29.5 miles but receipt reads 32 miles) and they charged us $269 without even giving a quote or estimation! (The receipt read: $125.00 towing charge, $144 mileage charge!) That is INSANE! Being that he was in a desperate and unsafe situation, we paid that price but we will NEVER, EVER use, suggest or recommend Corrigan Towing. Shame on you guys for taking advantage of people in bad situations.

AWFUL AND IRRESPONSIBLE. My car died between GR and Detroit at a rest stop. My insurance company arranged the towing service with them After waiting for 1 hour 15 minutes, I contacted my insurance only to find out that THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND AND HAVEN'T INFORMED THE CLIENT! My 70 y.o. mother was with me, thankfully weather was good! What if a firefighter changed their mind? A surgeon? A first responder? Hiw IRRESPONSIBLE! THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!

Unfortunately I have had to call AAA many times in the past several years. Typically my daughter runs out of gas, locks her keys in the car, car won't start; the saga continues on and on. But I have had to call them myself. How was I supposed to know that my husband brand new car honking the horn at me was becasue I left the keyless remote in the car while I ran back into her house for three minutes?

The sweet guy who came to rescue me way out in the middle of no where just smiled when I told him the problem (meaning he did not, at least to my face, make fun of me). But he brought his wife and baby and when I asked him about it they were on their way somewhere and diverted to help me. So kind. Corrigan is always who AAA calls to help me and my family and are always there in a timely fashion and are in constant contact on my cell phone telling me where they are and their ETA. And I don't think it is becasue I am a frequent user - I think they are this way with everyone :)

My wife ran over a nail but was able to make it home on memorial weekend. We called AAA and expected a long wait since it was a holiday weekend and the vehicle was at home not alongside the road. The Corrigan driver (Ken) called us and told us he would be at our house in 20 minutes. He arrived in 10. He changed the tire on our suv in less than 30 minutes explaining everything thing he was doing along the way and asking for our input when possible. Ken was very friendly, professional and clean cut.

The time from our call to AAA to the time the tire was changed and the bad tire was put in the trunk was less than hour. Excellent service anytime, but especially a holiday weekend.

Beware! Two fills in a row (oil heat), they've wreaked havoc on my finances. The first time, they charged the wrong account, leaving me to bounce checks and have no money for my family of six that week. The second time they double charged me by cashing my check AND charging my credit card! What should have been $657 ended up being $1314. Then it takes them a week (both times) to fix it.

And on top of all that, when I politely called to report the billing issue, they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize. Worst billing and customer service practices out there! Goodbye Corrigan.

I live in Rochester. New York. Came back home to spend thanksgiving with my family in Brighton as well as watch Michigan lose a football game. While I was at the game on Saturday my wife was entertaining our 3 kids. On her way to get them lunch her van lost power as she was approaching McDonalds in Brighton. She made a snap decision to drive the van into the parking lot of Bobs Tire behind McDonalds.

While I commend her for the quick thinking, turns out that was the absolute worst decision she could have made. After seeing gallons of red fluid on the ground under our van she determined rightly so that our van was not drivable. She called AAA who recommended a repair shop that was open at the time and a towing company to move the vehicle. Yes, Corrigan Oil Co. Was the preferred AAA towing company.

She did all this with our kids by her side and her absentee husband at a football game. So she called a taxi to take her back to my parents house while she was also waiting for Corrigan to show up with a tow truck. The truck never showed by the time the taxi showed up. With our 3 kids (ages 1.5, 6, and 8) she decided to get them out of the cold and back home.

She got a call a half our later from AAA telling her the tow company showed up and would not tow our van to the repair shop that was open because it was in the parking lot of Bobs Tire and they didn't know if we owed money to Bobs Tire or not. As if watching Michigan get their ass handed to them wasn't enough I had to deal with my wife who had her ass handed to her by a broke down van.

So instead of getting our van towed to a shop that was open on Saturday and Sunday with the possibility we could be back on the road for our planned 9 hour drive home to Rochester, NY I spent the 5 hours on the phone Sunday trying to get that damn van towed to a repair shop. After looking at the van this morning I had figured out it was probably a transmission line that rotted out or sprang a leak.

The van is 8 years old after all. I started back up up with AAA today at noon by retelling my wife's debacle from Saturday. They contacted a towing company who was in route to meet me at my van. The ETA for towing was 1:30pm. So I grabbed lunch and waited. At 1:15pm I got a call saying we were on track for a 1:30 towing. As I watched the minutes tick away I finally called AAA at 2pm to tell them my tow truck wasn't coming because they determined my van was Bob's Tire parking lot.

I lost it. I called Corrigans directly and explained the whole story directly. I explained we had a 9 hour drive home planned and I needed that van towed to a shop. This guy couldn't get past the fact that I may owe money to Bob's Tire. I explained that I don't know Bob, have never set foot in his shop, and he doesn't have a clue who the F I am.

I just needed to tow my car to a shop that I know is wiling and able to fix my van. This guy said he understands my situation and would contact his supervisor to see if they can move it. A half hour later I get a call telling me they won't tow the vehicle. I offered to give whatever tow truck driver they have my entire wallet to keep until he can determine I don't know Bob's Tire and don't owe them a freakin penny.

His best solution was to have his driver show up at Bobs at 8am and determine we don't owe anything to Bob and then tow it to the shop we found. I had thought about pushing the van into the middle of the intersection and waiting for the police to show up and tell me to move my van or they will tow it. Maybe they would have a better shot. Instead I pushed the van 15 feet away from its previous resting place next to Dollar General and called another tow company.

They were there within the hour and gladly moved my van for me. Corrigans can go to hell. Happy Thanksgiving morons. The most frustrating thing is that if I had not called to see where my tow truck was I might still be sitting there waiting.

Late Saturday evening after multiple calls to AAA, I was told the provider that serviced the area was closed and that they couldn't provide an ETA for any sort of help. AAA suggested I try to find a local tow company on my own and then simply submit for reimbursement. After relishing in how fortunate I was to have such a phenomenal provider, I called Corrigan.

While Corrigan isn't a AAA affiliate any longer they told me to just have AAA call them and they'd take care of the billing, no problem. Less than 20 mins later Corrigan driver is on site and readying my car for loading onto the wrecker. I was able to contact AAA while waiting (called, recording for extremely high call volumes, AAA could call me back, truck arrived before they called back) got a call back from the AAA rep, told him to call Corrigan to set up payment, which he did while putting me on hold before disconnecting me. Corrigan rep politely called me back to let me know that AAA had called and that I was all set. Hats off to the Corrigan team for providing great, friendly service in timely fashion. Thanks for the help!

Corrigan towing helped me when myself and two kids were stranded on the median of 23 north following an accident. I was very upset. Jim was wonderful with me and my kids. He called for a second truck so we could all be transported safely. He was able to recommend a collision place for my van and even reminded me to take my important belongings and showed me the key drop. I appreciate the caring attitude of the gentlemen that came to my rescue. They brightened up an otherwise terrible day!

While in backed up construction traffic on 96, your jerk of a tow truck driver chose to drive at high speed on the right shoulder coming dangerously close to my vehicle with small children inside, instead of the wide open left lane. Uncalled for and dangerous. Half a mile up the road, there he was attending to a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder, not hindering traffic and not an emergency. Maybe take down the adrenaline a tad bit, you are not a first responder and should not be disregarding safety in fear of being late for lunch.

Just minutes ago I had a fantastic experience with Corrigan Towing. Derek arrived quickly and was incredibly helpful. My car wouldn't start from a dead battery. Despite several neighbors coming over to try to jump the battery, I gave up and called for a tow. Derek was able to jump it in a matter of minutes and have me on the road without even needing the tow. I could not be more thrilled with how fast and courteous everything went. Bravo Corrigan and thank you Derek!

Not only does the Corrigan company exist, but they succeed. Unfortunately for those who hope for goodness in the world you will not find it within the Corrigan Company. Not only do they pay their employees poorly, they supply sub-par health insurance for their employees. The pettiness and the unprofessionalism that they supply in high quantities will reflect on your company if you so choose to utilize them.

They will not respect you. They will over charge you. And they will have poorly trained employees handle your very high priced oils and heavy hauls. If you chose to use them to help you with your company; I wish you the best. Because you will not receive any bit of integrity or generosity.

Used them for their towing service. They are prompt, efficient and charge a fair rate. My battery went dead and I couldn't get it to start even with jumper cables. It was that dead. I called them for a two and they responded within 30 minutes. This was during a morning snowstorm, so I was surprised that they could make it so quickly. They have all kinds of towing equipment, even for semi trucks.

They do own about half of Brighton, but it doesn't seem to affect their prices or service. A couple of years ago, a kid skiing at Mt Brighton went down a closed ski run while they were grooming the slopes. He skied under the machine and got stuck. It was so bad, they were considering amputation, but the guys from Corrigan came over with special equipment that could cut the machinery free. So yeah, they're pretty dedicated.
